In this short film about a traveling musical company, Ruth Etting sings and has romantic troubles with her fiancé and her sister. Ruth Etting was a huge musical star in the 20s and 30s and the Doris Day film “Love Me or Leave Me” was based on her. While the singing style at the time is kind of annoying, she brings a little soul into it that gives the twittering songbird routine more depth.
This movie also has Harry Earles, the little person who played Hans in Freaks.
